Conferring Fun

The other day, in the play area at the mall, Daniel went down the slide - admittedly a miniature one - head first, on his back, and proudly reported the whole thing to me. My response was minimalist: "Oh boy."

But apparently I was lacking the proper appreciation for his feat. Daniel corrected me:

"That's not an 'Oh Boy'."

"What is it, then?"

"It's a fun, fun thing."
