Man's Most Obstinate Friend

Daniel loves his gloves.

He put them into his helmet when he took a break from bike-riding in the driveway on Saturday, and when he came back outside, one of them was gone. This can only mean one thing: one of the dogs had a little glove-adventure. This probably means that the glove is lying in some obscure stash somewhere on the periphery of the yard. I conducted a pretty thorough search, but I didn't manage to find it.

In any case, Amy tried to dig a little deeper to see if Daniel could figure out where the dogs had put the glove, and he provided the following evidence of due diligence - completely in earnest:

"But I've been asking them - they wouldn't show me."

I was intrigued when Daniel said something similar to me, so I dug a little deeper, and established the following: Daniel believes that when he asked the dogs where they had put his glove, they understood the request, but still stubbornly refused to provide the requested information."
