First Things First

There's something oddly healthy going on when children just assume that the entire purpose of their parents' lives is to admire all the wonderful things they can do. It's a virtuous circle of benefit; the parents "live" to see the children do incredible things, like hang from the play structure ladder by their knees, and the children live to provide this psychic sustenance to their parents.

Today, amidst his many feats, Daniel mentioned:

"It's time I showed you what else I can do on this playground."
