Camera Flashes: Another Question for Uncle Andrew

Uncle Andrew comes up in the most random moments.

The other day, Daniel was talking about how he doesn't like bright flashes, such as you might see when someone takes your picture indoors. This issue came up, because I was photographing the children in the back yard, and, since there was sufficient sunlight, there were no flashes when the picture "took." I don't know why Daniel would be concerned about this; after all, photography is an extremely rare event in our house, and I only own two external hard drives for storage of such data. But in any case, Daniel was pleased by the absence of a flash when I took his picture, and commented: "Nobody really likes flashes. Do you like flashes? Does Uncle Andrew like flashes?"

I never asked my brother this important question, but I went out on a limb, and projected that Uncle Andrew probably doesn't like flashes. (Especially since they make his extremely blue eyes look bright red, as they do mine; red-eye is an old stand-by in our early family albums...)
