The Perils of Relativity

At a Christmas village event we visited yesterday, sponsored by a very active church in a nearby, pleasantly rustic town, the boys made Christmas ornaments. As we were leaving, they each showed me their ornaments, and I learned, on the spot, to make sure that each reaction is tempered by the reactions coming before or after it. Ian to his brother:

"He liked my bird, but he loved your gingerbread man, Daniel"
