A Liberal Window of Time Estimation

Daniel and I were playing Refreshment Stand today. The family room window was open, looking out on the front porch, so Daniel was eager to use it as a take-out window, and Madeleine obliged, ordering lemonade and chips, which he duly served - in this case, whole-grain tortilla chips. Meanwhile, he directed me to wash the dishes and maintain an auxiliary role in his hopping operation. Finally, apparently anywhere from an hour and six minutes, to two hours and forty minutes, before quittin' time, Daniel turned in from his window of operations, paused thoughtfully, and told me:

"Umm... I would say that we're gonna be closing in six-to-one-hundred minutes and a hour."
