The Lads Join the Little League

Ian had his first baseball meet today, and Daniel acquired his helmet [sic] and glove, in advance of his upcoming practice. Ian joined the A's - as in Oakland, except that instead of representing a rather unpleasant city in California, they represent some arbitrary division of quasi-suburban New England 8-year-olds into teams. But he's happy, and so are we all. He noted that the A's are green, but they played the C's, who are blue. Not the Chicago Cubs, but a recognizable letter/color combination.

Both boys are very excited.
