Excellent Sportsmanship

Daniel and Ian were having a Pokemon battle last night, where they actually embarked on physical play-fighting, and Daniel got scratched. However, all was forgiven, and quite formally:

"But Ian, I just to to tell you, I forgive you for the scratch."
