Reform

Last night, just as I had instructed that it was time to go upstairs for bed, he asked me:

"Daddy, can I have a little snack?"

Seeing the look of horror on my face at the timing of his request, he followed up:

"I'm giving out the warning a little earlier than I usually do, Daddy."

This is true. Normally, proposed snack-time coincides either with tooth-brushing ("But I'm not finished eating yet!") or lights-out...
