Striking Out at Art Appreciation

Daniel drew a picture and asked me to guess what it was. In earnest, I guessed a spaceship, a person, etc., but to no avail: it was a star.

Following up on my lame attempt at guessing, Daniel explained the excercise:

Daniel: It's just to show how good you are.

Me: How good I am at what?

Daniel: How good you are at telling, so that means you're just a little bit good.

[Then he proceeded to write an X on the drawing...]

Daniel: That means you're out, because you guessed, and I had to tell you what it is - that's why I drawed a X inside.
