Morning Serenade, In Verse

Ian came into the bedroom this morning, incidentally waking me up, and asked me:

Daddy, do you know what my favorite nursery rhyme is?

Me: What's that?

Ian: Hey diddle-diddle

The cat and the fiddle,

The cow jumped over the moon

The little dog laughed to see such a thing [sic]

And the dish ran away with the spoon.
