Young Narcissus Concurs

Amy was struck by how cute Daniel looked sitting on the stairs, at home, in an outfit she had bought him.  She couldn't help herself - she went over and hugged him, yelping with excitement, "You look really cute!

Daniel was charmed, and also probably a bit bashful, at the outburst - plus perhaps by the reality behind it, and he responded: "I know I look really cute."

Amy:  How come?

Daniel (smiling): Because I saw myself in the mirror.
