Technocracy in Perspective

Daniel was taunting Madeleine last night, publicly broadcasting her ignorance of a certain technology we used to engage before we had computers:  "Madeleine doesn't know what a calculator is!"

But Ian had an interesting, and quite instantaneous, comeback:

"Daniel, not knowing what a computer is, is a good thing, because that means you do all lyour math homework by yourself, unlike you, cheater!"
