Tenderly Wistful

Last night, right after I tucked him in, Ian told me about a memory he had from his very early childhood.  He said that one night, I had tucked him into bed, and then he decided to take the blanket off, and then put it back on himself.  He said that after he did that, he was sorry, because when I was the one who had put the blanket on him, it was special - it wasn't the same when he put it back on himself.
