Regarding My Chinese Colleagues and Their Full-Time Workplace Interpreters

Tonight, on the way back from his baseball game, Daniel and I had the following bit of conversation:

"Dad, is there anyone at your work that's Chinese."

I confirmed that I have two Chinese colleagues.

"Do they speak Chinese?"

"Yes."

"Do they speak English?"
