Adolescence Two Years Ahead of Schedule

The word is out:  Amy breaks Ian's spirit.  I think the whole family does, particularly with our shameless collusion in Daniel's conspiracy to make mischief.   But tonight Ian admitted outright that we break his spirit.

And since Amy is a hippy, she wanted to know more.  I would never ask for the details,  but Amy really wanted to get to the bottom of it.  Needless to say, the spirit-broken one marched off in the middle of the conversation and slammed the door.  By then, the Empathica had given up.  He said, "I want to go up to my room and sulk.  Mommy said, "You need to bring your homework with you when you go up to your room and sulk."

Needless to say, the bedroom door was slammed.
