Ye Olde Climbing Structure of Yesteryear, Revisited Yet Again

On Sunday, the boys and I went to The Children's Museum in Boston.  As usual, their first activity was to climb this gigantic climbing structure that they have there - this massive cage stacked with rungs and landing surfaces, set alongside the main staircase, that enables children to climb from the first floor to the third ,and get out at these little exit-doors that lead directly into the staircase itself.  This time, Ian wasn't convinced that the structure to support him, which is surprising considering that I have climbed the thing myself on previous visits.  But in spite of this danger, Ian was reflecting on some warm nostalgic feelings that this climbing structure brought back for him, looking back over the many years we've been taking him there in his more-than-a-decade of a life:

"It brought back good memories, and when I climbed it, it was like: 'Haaahh - this is how it used to be!'"
