Danielian Spoonerisms

Ian used the term "cuticle" tonight, reading one of the Dilbert books, when he actually meant to say "cubicle."  I pointed out to him that the cuticle pertains to your fingernails.  He laughed and said, "I can't believe I said that - that's such a Daniel thing to say.  Remember when he said 'manicure' instead of 'man-of-war'?"

To my chagrin, Ian eliminated one of my favorite Danielisms yesterday when Daniel had found out that Ian was invited to a friend's house and wanted to know if he was invited himself.  Daniel asked about it using his own terminology, and Ian corrected him, "Invited, not igvited."  Igvited seemed so wonderfully Swedish.

Of course, my favorite Danielism, which unfortunately fell out of use a year or two ago, was "disposta," as in "Ian, you're not disposta have three cookies."  Disposta was my favorite shiboleth for awhile, especially for passwords.
