Blog-Haters' Solidarity League

A few days ago I brought Ian home from his band class/practice and as we were about to get out of the car, he recognized my scribbling on a piece of paper, typical of my notes for the kids' blogs - this one turned out to be from Madeleine.  He and tried to make off with it and I ended up struggling for possession of the notes - luckily I'm stronger, for now - because he wanted to save Madeleine the humiliation of having her sayings and doings posted to the worldwide web.

Ian considers it his duty to do everything in his power to prevent my blogging, not just for himself, but for Daniel and Madeleine.  Daniel is also militantly opposed to my blogging about him, and by extension, about Ian.  Only Madeleine is still guileless enough to have no real consciousness of my day-to-day blogging activities, or to the think between Daddy scribbling notes in her presence and the eventual appearance of some colorful saying or doing of hers on the Internet.

I suppose I should be happy that the boys are looking out for each other, even though it makes it much harder to track and report all the memorable things that they do.
