An assumption that just happened to be correct
This evening, I was driving the mini-van, with all three children in the middle/back, and they were talking more-or-less nonstop, as is their wont. But suddenly, when we got to a stoplight and I started scribbling notes onto a piece of paper, Daniel drew his own conclusion as to what I was up to, as he issued the directive: "Stop writing about us."
Somehow, this seven-year-old had figured out entirely on his own that I was gathering notes from the day's great quotations for transfer to the blogosphere.
Once in awhile, children just seem to have that uncanny sixth sense...
