Dedication and Continuity

This morning, both boys came downstairs around 7:20 - something that would have been unthinkable, especially on a weekday, during the Pre-Electronic Days of Yore.  Daniel came into the family room and, after a brief pause, went over to the Kindle, which had been recharging on the window sill, and picked it up to resume "work."  Ian's first statement of the day to him was, "Daniel, wasn't it my turn?"
