Exalting With Faint Praise
I tried to keep the young'uns from the Internet. Nobody but me and possibly Amy knows my password on my personal laptop, and only I know the password on my work laptop. But unfortunately, Amy's old computer doesn't require a password, and neither does the Kindle. And that's the worst thing - we have a Kindle!!! So Ian is iSavvy at the tender age of nine. Nothing captures this horror more than the fact that, recently, he was eagerly posting a comment on a website about some (probably-Pokemon-related) application that he had tried out. And the comment was nothing, if not nuanced:
"I'm saying that it's not the best of apps, but it's definitely what I expected and wanted."
Yes, this seasoned Internet veteran has already learned to applaud mediocrity.
