Knowing The Value of a Dollar

The boys are Scottish, and they know the identity of the world's best store:  Dollar Tree.  Daniel asks almost every day if he can go there - not necessarily today, but sometime soon.  And because concrete is always better than abstract, he'll come up with ideas like yesterday's:  "Daddy, can we go to Dollar Tree on Wednesday?"

In one of these conversations he was having with me about the prospect of visiting Dollar Tree, Ian instantly recognized the category, with some enthusiasm:

"Dollar Tree?  That's where I was planning on spending four of my dollars."
