A Reasonable Assumption
Recently, I was reading Daniel, at his request, a very good book for children about how the ancient Romans lived, but I figured I should provide some unsolicited background on Rome itself, based on the silly assumption that he wasn't really familiar with The City of God.
So I explained that Rome was a whole empire - like a country that eats up other countries - centered around one big, important city. And do you know what that city is?
"Uhhh... New York City?"
