Yet Another Point of Shared Identity
Daniel thinks often and deeply about the identity of the two Daniels in our house, father and son. He likes big, full pillows, and I like thin pillows; Daniel found some silver-lining parallel in our tastes that somehow offsets or complements the pillow-discrepancy. Very often, Daniel will point out things that we both enjoy, in our capacity as co-Daniels.
The other day, Daniel was telling me about playing dodge-ball at day camp. I told him I also liked dodge-ball as a child.
The burning question was, do I still like dodge-ball? Of course, when asked, I do.
This made Daniel very happy:
"Yay! There's something that the two Daniels both like!"
