As The Next Generation Takes Its Rightful Place

For the record, today Ian beat me for real in chess.  Until today, I would basically rig things.  But today, Ian asked me a few times not to let him win, so I consciously steered away from acts of chess-piece-self-destruction... And he still beat me.  Eventually, I really put my mind to trying to catch up with him, but to no avail.

I know they're all smarter than me, but I hope their strategic superiority doesn't move from the chess board to real-life until they're old enough to maintain basic self-preservation.  For Ian, I'm not so scared about that; he already has pockets of wisdom beyond me.  But Ian is just one person in this equation...
