The Snack-Life of Dogs

Sitting at the dining room table on a lazy summer afternoon, reading his book and eating cherries from a big metal bowl, Ian tossed one to Golden The Dog and then commented as follows:

Ian:  I think he likes it, but then again it's a habit for dogs.

Me:  What's a habit for dogs?

Ian:  Licking their lips.
