If you see a twig, gather a twig...

Ian is concerned for the well-being of Blackout the Gerbil.  He has learned that, in Blackout's capacity as a rodent, he needs to chew on wood, so he now makes a point of gathering twigs for the little creature.  And now he's thinking globally:

"Daddy, I think we should start a whole pile of twigs just for Blackout.  Like when you see a twig, don't just leave it there.
