Blogging: Not Whether, But What

Amy has this silly notion that I blog too much, at the expense of all my other responsibilities, and she shared that opinion tonight.

This struck a chord with Ian, but not the chord that she had in mind:

"Yeah, the problem is, he doesn't blog enough on the dogs' blog."

In other words, whereas Amy's grievance is that I supposedly blog too much - kind of meta-parenting at the expense of parenting, if you accept her premise, Ian's grievance is that I have been sorely negligent in updating the blog that he and I started about our two crazy little dogs, since I'm too busy blogging about him and his siblings.

He's probably right -  I should probably be spending a lot more time blogging about the dogs.
