Typical Bedtime Request
Ian made the following bedtime request tonight, just as I was about to brush his teeth:
"Is it okay if I pop a lemonade-ice-Lego-guy in my mouth?"
What he was asking for, translated into conventional English, is the following: he wanted, before I should brush his teeth and render them off-limits to new ingestion, to chew on a one-inch-tall icicle, cast in a mold the shape of a "Lego guy," made with Newman's Own Lemonade (Amy's influence). In other words, he wanted to eat a kind of stick-less popsicle made from lemonade, extremely miniaturized, in the shape of a Lego-guy.
It's hard to imagine someone asking for such a favor anywhere else.
