The Painstaking Issuance of Dog Biscuits
Ian is wonderfully meticulous about many things, extending even to the realm of dog biscuit administration. At Amy's law school, a professor who's all about animals, and is currently gearing up for her annual on-campus rescue-a-pet fair [an all-day, Saturday affair], left out a basket of elegantly decorated dog biscuits, free for the taking, in the law school lunch/break-room. Ian took two - one for Golden and one for Ruthie, or Rupee, as he calls her. He ceremonially presented them with the dog biscuits on the porch after we got back this evening, and announced to me, more-or-less verbatim:
"Daddy, I spread peanut butter across the bones. Right now, they're happily eating them. but they started eating the side with the peanut butter first."
