Change From Within

Tonight, Daniel said something outrageous about Daniel, and Ian corrected him - that the malicious fantasy which Daniel had projected onto Ian was incorrect, "But I *would* like you to be nice to me."

And then Ian refined his wish:  "But I don't really want it to be because of something else - I want you to change."
