The Nuances in Distinguishing Attackers from Bad-Guys
A few days ago, Madeleine held up one of her many mermaids, from a set where each one was distinguished by a unique hair-color and matching tale, and announced, "This Ariel is a bad-guy."
Eventually, Daniel got around to following up on that classification and the following dialog ensued:
Daniel: Why is she a bad-guy?
Madeleine: Because she's attacking this Ariel [another in the set].
Daniel: Even though some people attack other people doesn't mean that they're a bad-guy, Madeleine
Of course, this seemingly amoral outlook scared me, at first, so I asked for a bit more elaboration, which Daniel provided, for cases where attacking parties might not necessarily be bad-guys:
"Just if they're attacking because of a war with army-guys. They're just attacking because of one country."
