Morning Proclamations

Daniel woke up Friday morning and - without a "good morning" or a "What time is is?" or any of the trappings of that initial transitional shock between sleep and awakenness, he shouted out a piece of information which had apparently just become fully clear to him:

"Some pirates have real mustaches!"

Within a few minutes, doting a bit on Golden the (male) dog, who was in bed with him, Daniel shared another revelation:

"Golden already is starting to look like a guy."

It must be the beard.
