Celebrating the Quilt in Your Life

Ian is undertaking a more formal recognition of his quilt. This is a wonderful little quilt, that he takes to bed nearly every night, with blocks bearing A, B, C, 1, 2, 3 against a blue background. Today, the teacher asked his class whether any of them had a special quilt, and Ian immediately knew what she was talking about. As he related it to me and Daniel, when he first got off the school bus this afternoon:

"You know - that little one that I hardly let anyone sleep under, other than me?"
