American-Born, but true to his Scottish Forebears

Daniel was having chocolate pudding for breakfast the other morning, but first he took the plastic, mass-produced cups of pudding out of their packaging, turned them upside down so he could see through the translucent bottom rather than having his view obstructed by the aluminum peel-off-top, and scrupulously examined the top level of each pudding-mass:

"I'm gonna look at them all because, ya know, I like them biggest."
