Winter, as experienced by children

Ian, in his bright yellow Winter jacket, his Russianoid furry hat, and gloves, looked quite the Norman Rockwell model out in the snow with me today, as I was shoveling, and his parting statement before going into the house was even more of classically all-American, and heart-warming:

"Daddy, I'm going inside to see if Mommy's hot chocolate is ready. Maybe I'll bring out a cup for you."
