Superhero Dreaming

The other night, Daniel told me that he had recently dreamed that he was Superman, with all the trappings and superpowers, but that when he woke up, he wasn't Superman, and he was sad.

I told him that I would much rather have my Daniel than have some superhero.

Daniel clarified that if he were a superhero, he would also be Daniel. Apparently, you don't lose any portion of your existing identity in the promotion.
