Double-Present on a Double-Namesday

Today is Daniel's namesday and mine - the feast of the Prophet Daniel, per the (Russian) Orthodox church calendar. I sang the appropriate namesday greetings to a beaming Daniel this morning, when he came into the room, bounding out bed in his Scooby Doo pajamas, and I pointed out that we have a special present this year - I have the day off from work on our namesday.

And Daniel turned out to have deeper insight into the bounty of the occasion than I did.

"So that would be two presents - because you would be able to stay with us, and we would be able to stay with you."
