Bringing Coals to Newcastle

Amy wanted me to oversee the process of getting Daniel into the bath tonight, but Ian had been reading a Beatrix Potter treasury/anthology, and wanted me to look over one of the less well-known of her stories, because he had mixed feelings about how it ended.

When Amy asked me to check on Daniel, I told Ian I had to go draw the water for him, and Ian, although resigned to the proposition, had some definite insight into the superfluousness of my mission:

"Oh, okay, but I think that Daniel is probaby the best at turning on the water of all of us."
