Boys' Day Out and About

As we were cruising down the highway the other day - Ian, Daniel and me - feeling fine, listening to country music (at Daniel's request) - Daniel shared his experience of the moment in a wonderful, very moving, memorable thought:

"Daddy, it's nice: just lying around, all three of us, in this car."

Technically, I was sitting, as required of the driver by state law, but Daniel's posture was very close to lying down, in a highly relaxed, expansive state of mind. And he was right: it was very nice.
