As If A New England Driver Needed A Racetrack...
Ian seems to be committed to an ongoing campaign to promote video game culture within our willfully joystick-free household. Following up on a similar observation about his contemporaries a few days earlier, he told me that Jacob feels very sorry for him because he has no video games of his own. [I told Ian that I feel very sorry for Jacob because he has video games, but I don't think that this changed his perspective...]
In any case, he made a compelling case for us to acquire some kind of racetrack-oriented game, in spite of Daniel's disturbing self-doubt in the matter:
Ian: Daddy... car video games - don't you think that it would help you with your car skills. [Then he elaborated about speed-control, steering, etc.]
Daniel: I'm very ungood at that kind of games.
