Anti-Fun Laws Flouted, Yet Again

Today, when Daniel's rough-housing with his sister got out of hand, and I sent him into time-outin his room. While he was there, Ian went in, apparently unaware of his brother's troubled status, and they were laughing and talking, perhaps even playing a bit. When I went into the boys' room to have the post-timeout-talk with Daniel, Ian suddenly became aware of the situation and apologized profusely:

"Oh, I'm very sorry, Daddy. Did I ruin his timeout? I think I accidentally made him have some fun."
