Sleep

Last night, I lay down in the boys' room after lights-out, but they were getting rambunctious, and I was getting frustrated with the fact that they had a hundred other priorities over going to sleep. So finally, I told them that if they can't go to sleep, I won't lie down in their room. But Ian quickly pointed out the futility of my trying to get them to sleep by staying away:

"But most of the night, I would be awake waiting for you."
