Secret Feats

Daniel set a new record tonight: he banged his tongue against his teeth for a long time, without even being detected.

At one point, he just announced this secret, and very impressive, activity, of which I had been completely ignorant:

"Daddy, did you know that my tongue was here this whole time, - like against my teeth?"

I was puzzled by this announcement, and what this secretive activity actually signified, so he explained:

"I meant to do it - see how long I could bang it like that for a very long time... Make it stay like that."

And all that time, I had no idea he had such an ambitious project underway...
