Physiology and Other Things We Like

Ian asked me, very reasonably, "Daddy, how come when you're upside down, everything doesn't come out of you?"

I explained that there's a tunnel that carries food to your stomach, called the esophagus, and I was about to go on about the epiglottis when Daniel interjected:

"I don't like that name, but I do like that tunnel, because I do like tunnels."
