The Pen is Wimpier Than the Sword

Daniel guided me through today's one-on-one playtime. Only he knows what he reallyh needs, so of course I let him write the script and walk me through the plot.

First I walked around the family room several times with him on my shoulder. Then we shifted, and he rode on my back instead. Finally, we had a sword fight, in which he observed:

"'I'm actually kind-of the toughest except for Ian."

I thought this was so funny, I had to write it down imediately, but Daniel pointed out how this diminished my battlefield-readiness:

"Daddy, can you stop writing, because you're tough when you don't write."
