Whistle While You Strive
Tonight, Daniel was whistling, and Ian felt a flush of inferiority:
"How come Daniel can whistle way-better than me?"
Ian then went on to reflect on the Glory Days of whistling:
"My best whistle was when I was seven."
However, Daniel graciously proceeded to give Ian a quick whistling tutorial, and he offered advice that show wisdom beyond his years:
"But you've got to do your *worst* whistle - that's how you can do your *best* whistle."
We've got to do our worst to do our best. Think of all the thing which, if we let ourselves do our worst, we would eventually work our way toward unimagined "best" achievements.
My best Introduction To Chemistry was when I was 20.
