The Biography of Johnny Appleseed

Daniel mentioned Johnny Appleseed after lights- out the other night, and it was so interesting that, this morning, when Daniel mentioned him again, I decided to ask him to tell me more about what he learned in school about this American hero:

Daniel: He lived a few years ago - almost three years ago, probably. ...I know one thing - five or six years ago, he lived.

Me: What did Johnny Appleseed do?

Daniel: Well, he, he gave little trees to people - little baby apple trees - and baby apples on them for people that were going away. Yeah, and they planted some of those apples when they were going, and he would leave thousands of apple trees or millions of apple trees behind him.
