Beyond Fancy

Last night, Madeleine found a bow-tie that belonged to Daniel, and, correctly recognizing it as a "bow," asked me to put it in her hair.

Daniel, meanwhile, wanted to know if ties and bow-ties were fancy. I told him that ties are fancy, but bow-ties are especially fancy, since they're part of a tuxedo, which is the fanciest kind of suite you can wear.

Then Daniel thought of a new way of maximizing the fashion statement:

"What if you weared both - would that be fancy?"
